Three kinds of work. One way of working.
Every engagement is bespoke, shaped to the person, team, organization, or coach in front of me. What stays constant is the approach: deep listening, the question that cuts through, and a nudge from alongside.
Become the leader you have the potential to be.
I combine a practical, grounded nature with deep humanity. I am your biggest fan, and I tailor our work together to help you get to where you want to be.
Who this is for: executives, public-sector leaders, and academics who already know roughly where they want to go and want a thinking partner to help them get there, and to move objectives from someday to done.
Who it's not for: anyone looking for a step-by-step playbook to install. This work is slower, more honest, and more yours than that.
A note for academic clients: coaching can often be funded through grant, startup, or professional-development funds. Ask me and I'll help you frame it.
- Identify your innate strengths, and lead from them
- Adapt your leadership style to what the moment actually needs
- Build a toolbox of proven, practical skills
- Get clear on what matters, now and a year from now
- Navigate hierarchy, delegation, and the relationships that decide everything
Netflix documentaries is calling me this afternoon, and that was an off-handed goal I put out there last year.– Dr. Jessica Murfree, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Before we met, I was surviving, but I was also sacrificing my sanity to get things done.– Tania Solis-Camara, Team Coach, Nike
Questions we might explore
- What does this system need in order to thrive?
- What does "the best of us" look like for this organization?
- What's emerging, and what's ready to be released?
- Where is a role going unfilled, and who's quietly carrying it?
Crafting systems that stay intelligent, generative, and creative.
Just as families do, organizations and teams have roles. When someone joins or leaves, the system shifts slightly, and what used to work quietly stops working. Systems aren't static, and treating them like they are is where most change efforts go wrong.
Who this is for: teams, boards, and institutions in the middle of a restructure, a reboot, a merger of cultures, or a change that's bigger than any one person.
Every engagement is bespoke. We start with a consult, move to a custom proposal, and design coaching intervals that fit the rhythm of your actual work, not a fixed package.
Expand your range as a coach.
Coaching supervision is a step toward mastery of the coaching craft. Coaches do a lot of holding, and rarely get held themselves. Working with an accredited team-coaching supervisor doesn't just amplify the quality of your own coaching, it lifts every system you work in.
Many of the coaches I do this work with are independent practitioners in their own right, and most of my supervision clients are. Others sit inside complex organizations. Either way, the work is the same: a steady place to bring the hard cases and expand your range.
I offer this individually, the format I work in most, as well as in small groups. I also do mentor coaching with select clients.
Who this is for: independent and organizational coaches, internal and agile coaches, release train engineers (RTEs), and scrum leaders who want support, perspective, and a place to bring the hard cases.
What to expect
- One-on-one supervision, or small groups of up to 8 with 2 facilitators
- Sessions every 4 to 6 weeks, with continuity between them
- Expanded coaching range and a wider repertoire of moves
- Relevant, meaningful feedback from people who do the work
- New perspectives that change how you show up in the room
It changed how our whole coaching team works together.– Katherine Vega, Director of Portfolio Management, Global Payments
The same starting line, whatever the work.
A free consult
A real conversation, no pitch. We find out together whether this is the right fit and what you're actually trying to move.
A custom proposal
I shape a bespoke proposal: format, cadence, and outcomes built around your situation, not a fixed package.
The work itself
We begin. Deep listening, powerful questions, and a steady nudge from alongside, at the pace that makes the change hold.
Questions I hear most.
How long does an engagement usually run?
It varies, because the work is bespoke, but individual coaching is often arranged in multi-month engagements rather than one-off sessions. Real change is long, and the cadence is part of what makes it hold. We'll size it together in the consult.
Do you work virtually or in person?
Both. Most one-to-one and supervision work happens virtually; team and organizational work and events like Clean in Montana are often in person. We'll choose what fits the work.
Can academic coaching be funded institutionally?
Often, yes. Many academic clients fund coaching through grant, startup, or professional-development funds. I'm glad to help you frame it for your institution.
I'm not an academic. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. The client roster spans Nike, SailPoint, Crocs, Schwab, JP Morgan Chase, and Global Payments, agile and scrum coaches, and corporate executives alongside university faculty. If you're a leader, team, or coach in a complex organization, you're in the right place.
What if I'm not sure which kind of coaching I need?
That's exactly what the consult is for. Bring the situation; we'll figure out the shape of the work together.
Let's find out if this is the right fit.
